Here, we report prespecified final analyses of the dose-escalation part of a first-in-human, phase 1 study (NCT03005782) of fianlimab as monotherapy and in combination with cemiplimab in patients with advanced malignancies.
Patients And Methods: Adult patients received 1 to 40 mg/kg of fianlimab plus 350 mg of cemiplimab every 3 weeks (Q3W) across various dose-escalation schedules.
Objectives: In patients undergoing interval tumor reductive surgery, a good response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy may limit available tumor for homologous recombination deficiency testing. The objective of this study was to assess whether the chemotherapy response score predicts homologous recombination status.
Methods: We identified patients with advanced epithelial ovarian cancer (diagnosed January 2019 to 20 June 2023) who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy, underwent interval surgery, and for whom a chemotherapy response score was reported (1=no or minimal tumor response, 2=appreciable tumor response, 3=complete or near complete response with no residual tumor).
A group of highly experienced pilots performed full-motion, simulated T-38 landings before and after extended missions aboard the International Space Station (ISS). On the day of return from the ISS pilots' performance was degraded on the initial landing attempt, with difficulty maintaining altitude during banking turns and navigational errors, which affected touchdown parameters such as touchdown speed, height over runway threshold and touchdown distance from the runway threshold. A positive result was that all pilots successfully completed a second landing attempt on the same day, suggesting a rapid recovery of performance once exposed to the task at hand.
