An unusual complication after Roux-en-Y gastric bypass: torsion and infarction of the divided Omentum.

A 41-year-old male was admitted from the emergency department with severe epigastric and right hypochondric abdominal pain. The patient had a laparoscopic Roux-en-Y gastric bypass operation 12 months previously. An abdominal computed tomography scan showed signs of omental infarction.

Granular cell tumour of the male breast.

Granular cell tumour (GCT) is a rare neoplasm that can be found in multiple sites throughout the body. Occasionally GCT is located in the breast. In general, it appears as a singular benign lesion, although it can be multi-focal and rare cases with malignant behaviour have been reported.

Liposarcoma of the spermatic cord: report of 2 cases.

These case reports describe the rare condition of liposarcoma of the funiculus spermaticus. It is treated by radical surgical resection. The diagnosis is usually made postoperatively.

Torsion of the vermiform appendix: a case report.

This case report describes a rare condition, namely a torsion of the vermiform appendix. Its clinical condition is indistinguishable from acute appendicitis.
