Objective: Describe the relation between clinic visits for symptoms of heat-related illness (Heat-Related Visits, HRV) and ambient Heat Index among aluminium smelters in the Arab Gulf States.
Methods: Four smelters provided HRV data. Meteorological data from nearby airports provided data for Heat Index (HI).

Materials And Methods: This prospective, single-center study included patients who stayed in the ICU for ≥3 days and could complete a questionnaire. The primary aim was to assess chronic pain incidence at 3 months and up to 1 year post-discharge and identify associated risk factors.
Health beliefs about one's own future should be clearly expressed, sincere, and enduring to be taken seriously by clinicians when assessing risks and benefits in key health decisions. This cartoon considers how clinicians' expressions of doubt about those beliefs can undermine patient-clinician relationships and a patient's epistemic authority.
