Objective: Analysis and presentation of the capabilities of the new ultrasound technique -the index of volume remodeling (IRV), which allows comprehensive assessing of pathological remodeling of the heart as an integrated functional anatomical system.

Materials And Methods: For this study 316 patients with acquired mitral valve disease (MVD) were examined prior to and following mitral valve replacement with bileaflet, disc-, and bioprostheses. Key parameters of the heart were measured in classical echocardiographic projections (end systolic area, end-diastolic area, end systolic volume, and end diastolic volume of ventricles, ventricular ejection fraction, atrial volume, and the ratio of ventricular to atrial volumes).

The analysis of transprosthetic hemodynamics in adults after aortic valve replacement in the Bakoulev Center for Cardiovascular Surgery in 2007-2010 demonstrated the hemodynamic advantage of the concept of new full-flow mechanical aortic valve prosthesis "CorBeat". Having the same size of internal orifice and tissue annulus diameters, the values of transprosthetic parameters (peak and mean gradients, blood flow velocities) through "CorBeat" were close to physiological values of transvalvular native aortic parameters and had a tendency to be not dependent on the size of prosthesis (p = 0.63).

Although that the first reports of cholesterosis gall bladder were in the second half of the XIX century, there is still insufficient information about the frequency of its detection in children. According to some researchers, this disease was detected in patients aged 13 to 14 years. In other periods of childhood gallbladder cholesterosis is considered to be casuistic rarity.

Unlabelled: Cholesterosis in childhood--this is a new poorly studied disease, which only begins to highlight in current literature. According to this our work was to study the clinical characteristics and to develop diagnostic criteria of gall bladder cholesterosis in children.

Materials And Methods: 66 children with cholesterosis gall bladder at the age of 1 year to 15 years were under the supervision.

The interaction between Ca2+- and Mg2+-dependent DNAse from Strongylocentrotus intermedius embryos with native DNA was studied by an immunological electron microscopy method. Colloidal gold-labelling was ascertained to be an endonuclease that reacted along the whole length of the native DNA chain. After the phosphodiester bond hydrolysis the DNA-DNAse complex did not dissociate.
