Visible Light-Driven Photocatalysis of Al-Doped SrTiO: Experimental and DFT Study.

Environmental problems associated with water pollution caused by organic dyes have raised serious concerns. In this context, photocatalytic processes have proven to be promising and environmentally friendly methods for water purification utilising abundant solar energy. In this study, a SrTiO-based photocatalyst was modified by doping with Al ions and the deposition of dual co-catalysts (Rh/CrO and CoOOH) to enhance the photocatalytic decomposition efficiency of methylene blue (MB).

Metabolome and Mycobiome of Subspecies Differing in Susceptibility to Brown Rust and Powdery Mildew Are Diverse.

The present study demonstrated the differences in the seed metabolome and mycobiome of two Coss accessions with different resistance to brown rust and powdery mildew. We hypothesized that the seeds of resistant accession k-1958 ssp. can contain a larger number of metabolites with antifungal activity compared with the seeds of susceptible ssp k-340, which will determine differences in the seed fungal community.

However, we lack data on its effectiveness in controlling seizures that originate in deep-seated areas like the hippocampus. We present a thermoelectric solution for focal brain cooling that specifically targets these brain structures.

Nodule bacteria (rhizobia) represent a suitable model to address a range of fundamental genetic problems, including the impacts of natural selection on the evolution of symbiotic microorganisms. Rhizobia possess multipartite genomes in which symbiotically specialized () genes differ from core genes in their natural histories. Diversification of genes is responsible for rhizobia microevolution, which depends on host-induced natural selection.
