Calibration of a Tube Passive Sampler in Wastewater Effluent with Adjustable Volumetric Flow for the Assessment of Micropollutants with Fluctuating Concentrations.

We present a versatile flow-through tube passive sampling device (TPS), with a controllable feedwater volumetric flow, that can be calibrated against the feedwater load of organic micropollutants (OMPs). This semipassive approach has the advantage of a determinable water load feeding the sampling device. The design of the TPS allows for new sampling scenarios in closed piping while providing stable and controlled sampling conditions.

Strategies to improve care for older adults who present to the emergency department: a systematic review.

Background: The aim of this systematic review was to examine the relationship between strategies to improve care delivery for older adults in ED and evaluation measures of patient outcomes, patient experience, staff experience, and system performance.

Methods: A systematic review of English language studies published since inception to December 2022, available from CINAHL, Embase, Medline, and Scopus was conducted. Studies were reviewed by pairs of independent reviewers and included if they met the following criteria: participant mean age of ≥ 65 years; ED setting or directly influenced provision of care in the ED; reported on improvement interventions and strategies; reported patient outcomes, patient experience, staff experience, or system performance.

[Resource-Oriented Narrative TraumaTherapy (Resonat): Treating Complex Trauma Disorders in Children and Adolescents Gently and Specifically].

Resource-oriented narrative trauma therapy (ResonaT; Hiller u. Hensel, 2019) is an innovative and creative approach within existing narrative trauma procedures. It is based on the three core elements of modern trauma therapy (actualisation, resource activation, dual attention) and invokes the neurobiological self-healing mechanism of memory reconsolidation.

[25 Years of TraumaTherapy with Children and Adolescents ‒ a Personal-Professional Review].

The author was fortunate to experience and help shape the development of the trauma approach with children and adolescents from the very beginning. This brought a great joy for and in the therapeutic work, an intense impulse for one's own inner work, an intellectual pleasure in working out new concepts andmany wonderful encounters in all the workshops with people who had the welfare of children so much at heart. He is deeply convinced that the future belongs to this approach because it is effective and counteracts the "privatization of stress" (Fisher, 2013).
