The aim of this study was to evaluate how different design features and manufacturing methods influence implant osseointegration and mechanical properties associated with fixation in a standardized model in cancellous bone of adult sheep.
Methods: We evaluated the performance of three titanium alloy implants: (A) iFuse-TORQ implant; (B) Fenestrated Sacroiliac Device; and (C) Standard Cancellous Bone Screw in the cancellous bone of the distal femur and proximal tibia in 8 sheep.
Creatine (Cr) is recognized for its role in enhancing cognitive functions through the phosphocreatine (pCr)-creatine kinase system involved in brain energy homeostasis. It is reversibly converted into pCr by creatine kinase (CK). A brain-specific isoform of CK, known as CK-BB, is implicated in the brain's energy metabolism.

The high mortality rate of HCC, coupled with the absence of reliable prognostic biomarkers, makes its treatment and prognosis evaluation challenging. The features of the T cell-inflamed microenvironment include active interferon (IFN)-γ signaling and the presence of cytotoxic effector molecules, antigen presentation, and T-cell activating cytokines.

We introduce a simple technique for the 391 nm N lasing emission induced by a corona electric field-assisted femtosecond filament in air. This technique greatly addresses the challenge of exciting a 391 nm lasing from 800 nm femtosecond laser filament in air at 1 atm.
