Background This study aimed to evaluate the relationship among human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) expression level, pathological complete response (pCR) rate of neoadjuvant chemotherapy, and prognosis in early-stage triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). Methodology This retrospective study analyzed the relationship among HER2 expression level, pCR rate, clinicopathological factors, and prognosis in 39 patients who were diagnosed with TNBC between 2012 and 2020 at Osaka Rosai Hospital and underwent surgery after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC). Results Patients' age ranged 33-86 (median = 57) years, and the observation period ranged 5-130 (median = 60) months.

Methods: Viral isolation was done using specimens obtained before and after treatment, with the type/subtype determined by RT-PCR using type- and subtype-specific primers. IC values were determined by a neuraminidase inhibition assay using a fluorescent substrate.
: This study aimed to investigate the actual situation of individuals with unknown health conditions (UHCs) and those indifferent to health (IH) among old-old adults (OOAs) aged 75 years and above using the National Health Insurance Database (KDB) system. : A total of 102 individuals with no history of medical examinations were selected from the KDB system in a city in Japan. Data were collected through home visit interviews and blood pressure monitors distributed by public health nurses (PHNs) from Community Comprehensive Support Centers (CCSCs).

We previously demonstrated the efficacy of donepezil, an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor that is widely used to treat dementia, in basic research.
Methods: This is a multicenter, double-blind, randomized, controlled, phase II clinical trial in which 120 patients with COVID-19 will be randomized in a 1:1 ratio to a donepezil or placebo group.
