Objectives: Children who are unable to eat and drink orally require temporary or permanent enteral nutritional support via tube feeding. The objective was to describe a weaning program held at a children's rehabilitation hospital and to review the long-term outcomes of the transition from tube nutrition to oral feeding.

Methods: The parents of 82 children who took part in the ALYN intervention program from 2011 to 2022 were requested to participate in a telephone survey to learn about their child's status related to eating, education, social wellbeing, and overall health.

Objectives: Children maintain growth and development by ingesting adequate calories and nutrients, typically achieved via oral intake of food and liquids. When unable to eat and drink orally, they need temporary or permanent enteral nutritional support via nasogastric, nasoduodenal, gastrostomy, or jejunostomy tubes. The objectives of this retrospective study are to describe lessons learned from operating a weaning program at ALYN Hospital for over a decade, the characteristics of the patient population (gender, age, medical condition, and type of tube feeding and hospitalization), and which of these characteristics correlate with successful weaning.

Shallow cloud fields exhibit different patterns, such as closed or open hexagonal cells and cloud streets. These patterns play a key role in determining the cloud fields' radiative effects, thereby affecting the climate. Here, we show that a large subset of shallow cloud fields forms organized, mesoscale-sized, regular patterns that persist for extended times.

The use of mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) is emerging as an efficacious and safe treatment for many infectious and non-infectious inflammatory diseases in human and veterinary medicine. Such use could be done to treat mastitis and metritis, which are the most common disease conditions affecting dairy cows leading to considerable economic losses and reduced animal welfare. Currently, both disease conditions are commonly treated using local and systemic administration of antibiotics.

One of the major sources of uncertainty in climate prediction results from the limitations in representing shallow cumulus (Cu) in models. Recently, a class of continental shallow convective Cu was shown to share distinct morphological properties and to emerge globally mostly over forests and vegetated areas, thus named . Using machine-learning supervised classification, we identify greenCu fields over three regions, from the tropics to mid- and higher-latitudes, and establish a novel satellite-based data set called , consisting of 1° × 1° sized, high-resolution MODIS images.
