Latency is a pervasive issue in various systems that can significantly impact motor performance and user perception. In medical settings, latency can hinder surgeons' ability to quickly correct movements, resulting in an experience that doesn't align with user expectations and standards of care. Despite numerous studies reporting on the negative effects of latency, there is still a gap in understanding how it impacts the use of augmented reality (AR) in medical settings.

Additionally, no antiviral drugs or vaccines were developed against the closely related coronavirus, SARS-CoV-1 or MERS-CoV, despite previous zoonotic outbreaks. To identify starting points for such therapeutics, we performed a large-scale screen of electrophile and non-covalent fragments through a combined mass spectrometry and X-ray approach against the SARS-CoV-2 main protease, one of two cysteine viral proteases essential for viral replication.

We estimate the sensitivity of the network to transient gravitational-wave signals for the third (O3), fourth (O4) and fifth observing (O5) runs, including the planned upgrades of the Advanced LIGO and Advanced Virgo detectors. We study the capability of the network to determine the sky location of the source for gravitational-wave signals from the inspiral of binary systems of compact objects, that is binary neutron star, neutron star-black hole, and binary black hole systems.
