Objective:  Type 2 diabetes is a metabolic disorder characterized by insulin resistance and hyperglycemia affecting many individuals worldwide. For effective management, adherence to recommended physician visits is important, along with lifestyle modification and pharmacological interventions. Regular doctor visits can improve adherence and help prevent complications.

The atmospheric dicarboxylic acids (DCAs) have a significant impact on the climate and indirectly affect human health, making them important organic substances. PM bound DCAs were analysed for Jorhat, India, 2019. In addition to the temporal variability, seasonal variation throughout the year and the impact of varying meteorological factors on DCAs concentration have also been studied.

Comparative Evaluation of 4% Articaine and 2% Lignocaine Anesthetic Agents in Children: A Split-mouth Randomized Control Trial.

Aim: The objective of the present study is to assess and compare the effectiveness of two different anesthetic agents, namely, 4% articaine and 2% lignocaine, in the extraction of primary molar teeth in children.

Materials And Methods: The study included 25 children requiring bilateral extractions of primary molar, with extraction performed on one side with 4% articaine and the contralateral side extraction with 2% lignocaine at two separate appointments. The anesthetic efficacy was evaluated objectively by assessing pain and the child's behavior at baseline, during injection and during extraction using the sound, eye, and motor (SEM) scale objectively, and subjectively using the faces pain rating scale (FPS).

Purpose: Tibial open shaft fractures are very common and susceptible to infection, which can lead to significant morbidity especially infection and non-union. Antibiotic coated nail is one option for fixing open shaft tibial fractures to minimise infection.
