We explored the dietary intake and metabolic syndrome (MetS) in 85 survivors of pediatric stem cell transplantation (median age 30 years, median follow-up time 20 years). Overall, the distribution of fatty acid deviated from the recommendations with a higher intake of saturated fat and a lower intake of unsaturated fat but was comparable to that of the background population. The prevalence of MetS was 27%, corresponding to that of the elderly background population.

Importance: Although there is a known association between urinary incontinence (UI) and fall risk, it is unclear if having both UI and fecal incontinence, or dual incontinence (DI), increases this risk.

Objective: The objective of our study was to elucidate a relationship between DI and falls.

Study Design: This was a retrospective cohort study at a tertiary academic health system of female patients 65 years and older presenting for a new patient visit to a urogynecology health care professional for UI from 2019 to 2021.

Background: In health policy, much attention has been paid to collaboration between the primary and secondary health care sectors, especially in relation to hospitalisation and discharge. Despite ideal plans for collaboration, the research literature shows that inadequate communication is a well-known problem that can be a barrier to a safe trajectory for the citizen. Based on the assumption that better knowledge of each other's work will lead to better collaboration, a cross-sectoral exchange program with nurses was initiated.

Attending to the speech stream of interest in multi-talker environments can be a challenging task, particularly for listeners with hearing impairment. Research suggests that neural responses assessed with electroencephalography (EEG) are modulated by listener's auditory attention, revealing selective neural tracking (NT) of the attended speech. NT methods mostly rely on hand-engineered acoustic and linguistic speech features to predict the neural response.

Analysis of wastewater is used in many settings for surveillance of SARS-CoV-2, but it remains unclear how well wastewater testing results reflect incidence. Denmark has had an extensive wastewater analysis system that conducts 3 weekly tests in ≈200 sites and has 85% population coverage; the country also offers free SARS-CoV-2 PCR tests to all residents. Using time series analysis for modeling, we found that wastewater data, combined with information on circulating variants and the number of human tests performed, closely fitted the incidence curve of persons testing positive.
