Objective: To use an artificial intelligence (AI)-powered large language model (LLM) to improve readability of patient handouts.
Study Design: Review of online material modified by AI.
Setting: Academic center.
Background: Commonly used endoscopic nasal polyp grading scales have been shown to correlate poorly with symptom scores and quality of life metrics. The recently described Postoperative Polyp Scale (POPS) is a grading system that more accurately characterizes polyp recurrence in postoperative sinus cavities by describing incremental recurrence in relation to the surgically opened sinus cavities.
Objective: The objective of this study was to determine if the POPS correlated with sinonasal symptoms.
Objective: It is well established that exposure of human skin to airborne pollution, particularly in the form of particulate matter sized 2.5 μm (PM ), is associated with oxidative stress, DNA damage and inflammation, leading to premature signs of skin aging. Because much of the damage results from oxidative stress, we examined the effects of a topical composition containing three antioxidants in an in vitro model system to assess the potential for amelioration of premature aging.

Objective: To describe the impact on clinical outcomes and institutional cost of the depressor anguli oris myocutaneous (DAOM) flap as an axial pattern transposition flap for reconstruction of large, full-thickness lip defects.
Methods: A multicenter retrospective cohort study of adults with large full-thickness lip defects who underwent DAOM flap reconstruction from 2011 to 2018 was conducted.
