Background: Like other countries developing standardized general practice training, China faces the challenge of training vast numbers of new general practice faculty. However, little is known about these clinician-teachers' motivations and perceived needs for faculty development. This review intended to explore available published data on Chinese general practice faculty development needs and motivation for ongoing professional development.

Although several recent publications have identified molecular alterations in meningioma including characteristic mutations, copy number alterations, and gene expression signatures, our understanding of the drivers of meningioma recurrence is limited.
Objective: To identify gene expression signatures of 1p22qNF2 meningioma recurrence, with concurrent biallelic inactivation of and loss of chr1p that are heterogenous but enriched for recurrent meningiomas.
Alga-dominated geothermal spring communities in Yellowstone National Park (YNP), USA, have been the focus of many studies, however, relatively little is known about the composition and community interactions which underpin these ecosystems. Our goal was to determine, in three neighboring yet distinct environments in Lemonade Creek, YNP, how cells cope with abiotic stressors over the diurnal cycle. All three environments are colonized by two photosynthetic lineages, and , both of which are extremophilic Cyanidiophyceae red algae.

To provide insight, here we compare the recognition of naturally elicited and vaccine-elicited antibodies targeting the HIV-1 fusion peptide, which comprises envelope (Env) residues 512-526, with the most common sequence being AVGIGAVFLGFLGAA. Naturally elicited antibodies bound peptides with substitutions to negatively charged amino acids at residue positions 517-520 substantially better than the most common sequence, despite these substitutions rarely appearing in HIV-1; by contrast, vaccine-elicited antibodies were less tolerant of sequence variation, with no substitution of residues 512-516 showing increased binding.

Despite a lack of Bundle adoption in the UK, the individual evidence-based practices (EBPs) within the bundle are defined as standards of care by the UK Intensive Care Society. There are limited data on the delivery of these EBPs.
