Background: BRCA2 germline mutations are known to predispose carriers to various cancer types, including breast, ovarian, pancreatic and prostate cancer. An association with melanoma has also been reported. However, the full tumour spectrum associated with BRCA2 mutations, particularly in patients with other concurrent pathogenetic mutations, is unexplored.

Currently, there is a wide variation in reporting practices within our country, and as patients move between different hospitals, it is increasingly necessary to standardize NGS reports to ease their reinterpretation. Additionally, as many different stakeholders-oncologists, hematologists, geneticists, pathologists, and patients-have access to the NGS report, it needs to contain comprehensive and detailed information in order to answer the questions of experts and avoid misinterpretation by non-experts.

TLS can be managed through hyperhydration, urate-lowering treatments, and a steroid prophase strategy.
Aims: This study aims to explore the impact of fractionated rituximab, an anti-CD20 antibody, on the occurrence and severity of TLS during the initial cycle in patients with aggressive B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL).
Inflammation plays a pivotal role in cancer development, with chronic inflammation promoting tumor progression and treatment resistance, whereas acute inflammatory responses contribute to protective anti-tumor immunity. Gasdermin D (GSDMD) mediates the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β. While the release of IL-1β is directly linked to the progression of several types of cancers, the role of GSDMD in cancer is less clear.
