Background: Peripheral T-cell lymphomas represent a rare and heterogeneous group of mature T-cell neoplasms characterised by aggressive behavior. Previous studies evaluating peripheral T-cell lymphoma epidemiology across Latin America have been restricted in their representation of most countries in the region. In this study, we aimed to describe peripheral T-cell lymphoma epidemiology across Latin America.

Background: Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) can cause severe disease, notably among infants, older adults, and individuals with comorbidities. Non-systematic testing and differences in coding practices affect direct measures of the hospital disease burden. We aim to tackle this issue and estimate RSV-associated respiratory hospital admissions through time series modelling of hospital admissions.

Cloaking is a method of making obstacles undetectable. Here we cloak unit cells of a magnetic pattern squeezed into an otherwise periodic pattern from a magnetically driven colloidal flow. We apply a time-periodic external magnetic field loop to an ensemble of paramagnetic colloidal particles on the deformed periodic magnetic pattern.

Purpose: Workplace health interventions with exercise have positive effects on musculoskeletal pain and well-being at work, however, effectiveness is questioned due to low adherence. In hospitals participation is challenged by shiftwork and unpredictable workload. Our aim was to investigate the feasibility of exercise during working hours in an acute hospital, herein to estimate the health impact to guide management decisions on implementation.

: To quantify the clinical value of integrating a commercially available artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm for intracranial aneurysm detection in a screening setting that utilizes cranial magnetic resonance imaging (cMRI) scans acquired primarily for other clinical purposes. : A total of 907 consecutive cMRI datasets, including time-of-flight-angiography (TOF-MRA), were retrospectively identified from patients unaware of intracranial aneurysms. cMRIs were analyzed by a commercial AI algorithm and reassessed by consultant-level neuroradiologists, who provided confidence scores and workup recommendations for suspicious findings.
