Article Synopsis
  • - The paper explores the opto-electrical properties of hydrogenated group IV alloys, focusing on their optical bandgap energies, structural characteristics, and their relationships to material density and composition.
  • - It discusses how the optical bandgap correlates with electrical properties like dark conductivity and photoresponse, particularly in amorphous and nanocrystalline hydrogenated germanium films.
  • - The research identifies a processing method that yields chemically stable Ge:H films with very low dark conductivity, and introduces alloying strategies using O, C, and Sn to enhance the photoresponse and stability of these materials.

Vaccine hesitancy (VH) is a pervasive issue resulting in the delay or refusal of vaccines, which are known to protect against life-threatening diseases. The purpose of this quality improvement project was to determine if early identification of VH using the Parent Attitudes about Childhood Vaccines survey and targeted interventions would decrease VH scores. Of the 70 total participants, 11 participants were VH in the preintervention survey group; of those, nine (81.

During the early phase of the cell cycle the eukaryotic genome is organized into chromosome territories. The geometry of the interface between any two chromosomes remains a matter of debate and may have important functional consequences. The Interchromosomal Network model (introduced by Branco and Pombo) proposes that territories intermingle along their periphery.
