[Effectiveness of recombinant activated factor VIIA (NovoSeven) in case of severe obstetric complication with coagulopathy].

The aim of report is to present the possibilities of applying NovoSeven in serious coagulopathy in course of various obstetrical complications. At present it is utilised in acquired coagulopathy, bleedings, traumatic cases and extensive surgical operations especially associated with DIC. We report two cases of severe complications during delivery.

[Oncologic gynecology and the Internet].

The strategy of World Wide Web searching for medical sites was presented in this article. The "deep web" and "surface web" resources were searched. The 10 best sites connected with the gynecological oncology, according to authors' opinion, were presented.

[Struma ovarii: an ovarian neoplasm].

Authors shows three cases of very rarely occurring ovarian struma. First case--was discovered in a patient with normal physiological hormonal activity. Second case--was discovered in a postmenopausal patient with hyperthyroidism and with endometrial carcinoma.

[Pregnancy and labor in the patient with arteriovenous congenital fistula].

The paper presents a case of uncomplicated pregnancy in 26-years old primipara suffering from congenital arteriovenous fistula. The clinical picture of disease was manifested by presence of vaso-dilatations in lower and upper limbs and in the vulva, because of which the pregnancy was terminated by cesarean section. Puerperal and postoperative outcome was uncomplicated.

[Ultrasonographic evaluation of fetal weight in normal, single fetus pregnancies in the population of Wrocław].

The aim of this paper was the analysis of the clinical usefulness of the nomogram presented by Hansmann for the fetal weight prediction in normal, single fetus pregnancies of Wrocław population. The authors proved, that in the group of 36 pregnant women the least difference between fetal weight evaluated before birth and the birth weight of newborn was noted in the group of babies with birth weight 2000-4000 g. In the group with birth weight below 2000 g and over 4000 g respectively, the twice to octuple evaluation error is expected.
