[Combined chromoduodenoscopy and ultrasonography in choosing the surgical procedure in acute cholecystitis].

A comparative assessment of the ultrasonic method of investigations and chromoduodenoscopy for diagnosis of patency of the cystic duct has been made on the basis of treatment of 84 patients. Their high informative value is shown. A tactical scheme of management of patients with acute cholecystitis using findings obtained by these methods allowed the amount of forced operations to be decreased and thus postoperative lethality was less.

[Cystic duct obstruction in the pathogenesis of acute experimental cholecystitis].

The experimental model of acute cholecystitis with a regulated cuff, which permits to reproduce the state of bile outflow in patients with acute inflammation of the gallbladder, when the cystic duct is partially, or completely obturated, has been developed. The results of investigation can contribute to choice of surgical tactics in acute cholecystitis.
