Background: Few studies have evaluated trends in diet quality across early childhood, including the extent to which foods and beverages available in the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) Food Package contribute to children's diets.
Objective: The objective of this study was to examine the following across ages 2 through 5 years: (1) trends in Healthy Eating Index-2020 (HEI-2020) total and component scores; (2) differences in mean HEI-2020 scores by WIC participation duration; and (3) contributions of the top 5 foods or beverages to HEI-2020 component scores by WIC duration.
Design: This was a secondary analysis of a nationally representative sample of the WIC Infant and Toddler Feeding Practices Study-2 conducted between 2013 and 2019.

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused major disruptions to workplace safety and productivity. A browser-based interactive disease transmission simulation was developed to enable managers and individuals (agents) to optimize safe office work activities during pandemic conditions. The application provides a user interface to evaluate the impact of non-pharmaceutical interventions (NPIs) policies on airborne disease exposure based on agents' meeting patterns and room properties.

While advances in AAC technology lag significantly behind those in other technology sectors, mainstream technology innovations such as artificial intelligence (AI) present potential for the future of AAC. However, a new future of AAC will only be as effective as it is responsive to the needs and dreams of the people who rely upon it every day.
