Study Design: Case Report.
Background: The purpose of this case report is to describe nerve mobilization in the treatment of lower extremity neuropathic pain in a female collegiate long jumper.
Case Description: A 21 year-old long jumper presented 7 months after onset of ankle and leg pain.
Most clinical trials exclude patients with poor performance or comorbidities. To study whether patients with these characteristics can be treated within a clinical trial, we conducted a study for patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) with poor performance, organ dysfunction or comorbidities. Primary endpoint was 60-day survival.

ABT-737 is a small-molecule BH3 mimetic that exhibits single-agent activity against lymphoma and small-cell lung cancer in preclinical studies. We here report that ABT-737 effectively kills acute myeloid leukemia blast, progenitor, and stem cells without affecting normal hematopoietic cells.
