This study examines different forms of skeletal deformities detected in fish species collected from two Egyptian aquaculture facilities during two harvest seasons in 2008. Various patterns of skeletal deformities were observed in 19 of 959 fish collected. Deformities were diagnosed using a number of techniques including clinical, radiographic, sonographic and histopathological evaluations.

Eighty-one dislocations were primary and 36 dislocations were second or recurrent dislocations. The age distribution was characterized by a peak in male patients aged between 21-30 years.
