Aim: To compare the macular and optic nerve perfusion and vascular architecture using optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) in normal eyes of Egyptian (Caucasians) and South Asian (Asians) volunteers.
Methods: Cross-sectional analytical OCTA study performed on 90 eyes of South Asian (=45) and Egyptians (=45) were analyzed. All participants underwent best-corrected visual acuity test, slit lamp, and fundus examination.
Purpose: To evaluate the outcomes of pars plana vitrectomy (PPV) for full thickness macular holes (FTMH) in ocular Behçet's disease.
Methods: Eyes with FTMH as confirmed on optical coherence tomography in patients with active ocular Behçet's disease (AOBD) were included in this study. These eyes underwent PPV, epiretinal membrane (ERM) removal, internal limiting membrane (ILM) peel, and a tamponade injection.
Introduction: We aim to explore the safety and efficacy of episcleral brachytherapy as a primary management option for eyes with retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) adenoma.
Methods: Retrospective chart review of the demographic, clinical, ancillary, and postoperative outcome data of patients with RPE adenoma in 2 tertiary referral centers. Tumor regression, final visual acuity, and complications were assessed.
