Aim: The monocyte-to-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (MHR) has currently been proposed as an indicator of inflammation. The aim of the present study was to assess the relationship between the monocyte-to-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio and periodontal health and disease.
Materials And Methods: A total of 90 patients were selected for the study - 30 healthy patients (group I) and 60 periodontitis patients (groups II and III).
In distinct parts of the food web, Fusarium culmorum and Fusarium preserving the relationship can germinate and grow zearalenone (ZEA) and fumonisins (FUM), accordingly. Antimicrobial drugs used to combat these fungi and toxic metabolites raise the risk of hazardous residue in food products, as well as the development of fungus tolerance. For modeling fungal growth and pathogenicity under separate water action ( ) (0.

Materials And Methods: One hundred and twenty patients were included in this study, which was further divided into three groups. Group 1 consisted of forty patients with CP, Group 2 consisted of forty patients of CP with controlled diabetes, and Group 3 consisted of forty patients of CP with uncontrolled diabetes.

Effect of corticosterone on lipid contents of different brain regions and the effect of age on the sensitivity of these regions to corticosterone have been studied. Corticosterone administration (40 mg/kg body wt, sc) to 17-day-old rat for 3 days led to significant decrease in phospholipid content of cerebellum and increase in cholesterol contents of hippocampus and striatum. However, there was no effect on cerebral cortex and brain stem lipids.
