Age prediction based on single cell RNA-Sequencing data (scRNA-Seq) can provide information for patients' susceptibility to various diseases and conditions. In addition, such analysis can be used to identify aging related genes and pathways. To enable age prediction based on scRNA-Seq data, we developed PolyEN, a new regression model which learns continuous representation for expression over time.

This paper explores the effects of gender and work/life factors on dentists' mental health before and during the pandemic.
Methods: Data were obtained from a cross-sectional, online survey of Canadian dentists, which was part of a broader study of Canadian professionals' mental health challenges conducted in 2020-2021.
Objective: To examine the prevalence of traumatic brain injury (TBI) in the US veteran population, and physical, mental, and cognitive health conditions associated with TBI.
Design: Retrospective cohort study.
Setting: A nationally representative sample of US military veterans surveyed in 2019-2020.
Background: Technological change is impacting the work of health professionals, especially with recent developments in artificial intelligence. Research has raised many ethical considerations respecting clinical applications of artificial intelligence, and it has identified a role for professional regulation in helping to guide practitioners in the ethical use of technology; however, regulation in this area has been slow to develop. This study seeks to identify the challenges that health professionals face in the context of technological change, and whether regulators' codes of ethics and guidance are sufficient to help workers navigate these changes.
