Management of datasets that include health information and other sensitive personal information of European study participants has to be compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679). Within scientific research, the widely subscribed'FAIR' data principles should apply, meaning that research data should be findable, accessible, interoperable and re-usable. Balancing the aim of open science driven FAIR data management with GDPR compliant personal data protection safeguards is now a common challenge for many research projects dealing with (sensitive) personal data.

Objectives: To assess the diagnostic accuracy of MRI in diagnosing ramp lesions in patients with an acute lesion of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).

Materials And Methods: All consecutive patients over 15 years of age who underwent surgical repair of the ACL at a single hospital between January and May 2019, with MRI data available, were included in this retrospective study, except patients who had previous knee surgery. The gold standard was arthroscopic evaluation.

Background: Some authors have suggested that the semimembranosus tendon is involved in the pathophysiology of ramp lesions. This led us to conduct a gross and microscopic analysis of the posterior horn of the medial meniscus and the structures inserted on it.

Hypothesis: (1) The semimembranosus tendon has a tendinous branch inserting into the posterior horn of the medial meniscus, and (2) the meniscotibial ligament is inserted on the posteroinferior edge of the medial meniscus.

-based new approach methodologies (NAMs) provide a pragmatic solution to animal testing of petroleum substances and their constituents. A previous study exposed an in vitro model (A549 cells) at the air-liquid interface (ALI) to assess inhalation toxicity of a single compound, ethylbenzene. Experimental conditions using VITROCELL 24/48 exposure system were optimized to achieve a deposition efficiency that resulted in dose-dependent biological changes.

Background: The anterolateral ligament (ALL) has been shown to contribute to the rotational stability of the knee. However, no clinical sign specific to ALL injury has been described.

Purpose/hypothesis: The primary aim of this study was to determine the concordance between pain elicited upon ALL palpation and ALL injury diagnosed by ultrasonography (US).

Introduction: Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) of the head and neck is a rare malignancy of the salivary glands that accounts for approximately 10% of salivary gland carcinoma. Despite aggressive local therapy, local recurrence and distant metastases occur frequently. Response rates (RR) to potential curative and palliative chemotherapy are limited, so new strategies are needed.
