We examined the possibility of measuring dissolved oxygen by using a potentiometric solid-state semiconductor sensor. Thin films of tin (IV) oxide (SnO) are widely used in oxygen gas sensors. However, their ability to detect dissolved oxygen (DO) in solutions is still unknown.
