Rare case of right ventricular dilatation associated with anomalous pulmonary venous drainage, sinus venosus atrial septal defect and persistent left superior vena cava.

A 34-year-old woman was seen in the emergency department for shortness of breath and chest pain. During a pandemic, it is easy to 'think horses and not zebras', and with a patient presenting with the classic coronavirus symptoms it would have been easy to jump to that as her diagnosis. After a careful history and examination, it became clear that there was another underlying diagnosis.

Influenza vaccination in north Indian patients with heart failure.

Background: No data exists regarding the uptake of influenza vaccination in patients with heart failure (HF) in India. The present study was designed to assess the uptake, knowledge, attitude and practices of the Indian HF patients towards influenza vaccination.

Methods And Results: Five-hundred patients with acute/chronic HF were approached for a personal interview and responses to an interview recorded in a pre-defined questionnaire depicting their knowledge, attitudes and practice regarding influenza vaccination.

Poor uptake of influenza vaccination in pregnancy in northern India.

Objective: To study the uptake of influenza vaccination among pregnant women in northern India and physicians' beliefs and practices regarding vaccination.

Methods: A questionnaire-based survey was undertaken between October 2012 and April 2013. Pregnant women attending an obstetric hospital in Srinagar, India, and healthcare personnel were asked to participate.
