Clonal hematopoiesis is highly prevalent in elderly patients with blastic plasmacytoid dendritic cell neoplasm (BPDCN), and around 20% of BPDCN patients have an associated myeloid malignancy. We present a patient with localized BPDCN and concomitant myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), previously followed for several years due to clonal cytopenia of unknown significance. Compared targeted next-generation sequencing (NGS) of the skin tumor and sequential bone marrow samples showed shared variants in ASXL1 and TET2 with a de novo NRAS variant in both BPDCN and MDS compared to preceding bone marrow samples.

Prior studies on effects of home-based treatment lack inclusion of patients with hematologic malignancies. We present data from a multicenter single-arm feasibility and safety study of home-based intensive chemotherapy in patients with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia and their quality of life and psychological wellbeing.

- The Danish Myelodysplastic Syndromes Database (DMDSD) includes nearly all MDS patients diagnosed in Denmark since 2010, but its data quality and usefulness for epidemiological research had not been examined until now.
- A validation study of records from 2010-2019 identified 2,284 patients, revealing a median age of 76 years, a 92% positive predictive value for MDS diagnosis, and that 80% of data was complete with low missing values.
- The findings indicate that the DMDSD is a reliable source of information for future studies on myelodysplastic syndromes, highlighting the importance of accurate recorded data for epidemiological research.

Objective: To determine the relationship of insulin resistance with microalbuminuria in patients of type-2 Diabetes mellitus and observe gender difference if any.
Study Design: A cross-sectional study.
Place And Duration Of Study: Diabetes Clinic of Combined Military Hospital, Malir Cantt, from April to August 2007.
