Type 2 Diabetes and Precursors in Community Dwelling Asian Indian Adult Youth.

Background: Recent studies have shown a high prevalence of Type-2-diabetes (T2DM) (24%) and prediabetes (18.1%) in Kerala. There is no community based study from South Asia regarding the prevalence of type 2 diabetes and its precursors in the young adult population.
