Tuberculosis is a fatal disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis with highest morbidity and mortality every year. The evolution of anti-TB drugs is promising in controlling and treating TB. Yet, the drug response varies depending on the bacterial load and host immunological profiles.

High salinity in the agrolands can lead ionic, oxidative, osmotic and water stress to crops. A potential phosphate solubilising bacterium, Curtobacterium luteum was isolated from marine environment (seagrass meadow) and was evaluated for the enhancement of plant growth promotion of three different agro plants (rice, tomato and chilli) using agro saline soil.

The enhanced production of EPS by Enterobacter soli (EsEPS) was obtained by optimization of cultural conditions, maximum production (3.86 ± 0.

The major concern about native collagen is lack of its thermal stability and weak resistance to proteolytic degradation. In this scenario, the crosslinking compounds used for stabilization of collagen are mostly of chemical nature and exhibit toxicity.

Application of acid protease in dyeing process resulted in increased absorption and diffusion of dye into the leather matrix. Enzyme treatment at 1% concentration, 60 min duration and 50 degrees C resulted in maximum of 98% dye exhaustion and increased absorption rate constants.
