In the modern environment conscious era, there has been a huge demand for the effective green method to fabricate biomaterials for sustained transdermal release of diltiazem hydrochloride to treat hypertension and cardiac failure. In this vein, the present study explores the amination of waste jute sourced nanocellulose (ANC) and its effect as a reinforcing filler to design electrospun polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)/chitosan based polymeric nanofibrous scaffold for drug delivery. The characterization results of FTIR (Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy) confirm the successful chemical modification of nanocellulose (NCC).

We have observed that an immunomodulator, neem leaf glycoprotein (NLGP), inhibits tumor-resident MDSCs and enhances antitumor CD8+ T cell immunity. NLGP inhibits the number as well as functions of tumor-resident MDSCs (Gr1±CD11b±) and enhances antitumor CD8± T cell immunity by downregulating arginase 1 and inducible nitric oxide synthase production in MDSCs.

The control of the aquatic developmental stages is one of the easiest way to prevent the emergence of adults-the blood feeding adult females being thus prevented to sample their blood meal and to lay their eggs in the aquatic milieu where develop the aquatic pre-imaginal developmental stages. Moreover, reducing the adult population size also the probability of for the blood feeding adult female mosquitoes to act as hosts and vectors of the arboviruses such as dengue virus & Japanese encephalitis virus as well as of Plasmodium.

Objective: In this study, we aimed to harness some solvent extracts of one wild mushroom Hexagonia glabra and test their anti-cancer activity against cervical human cell lines, namelyHeLa, SiHa, and CaSki.
Methods: It includes cell morphological study by microscope, nuclear morphology by DAPI staining under fluorescence microscopy, apoptosis assay by fluorescence technique, anti-proliferation by MTT assay and expression of apoptotic and anti-apoptotic genes by Western blotting and cell cycle analysis was done.
Results: The selected cervical cancer cells were treated separately with 150 µg/mL of three extracts, namely of ethanolic (EE), ethyl acetate (EAE), and water extract (WE) and exhibited features like round, shrink and dead.
We investigate a few density functional theory-based reactivity indices of chemistry, with a view to arrive at an intercomparison and also consider their applications toward the problems of chemical significance. In particular, we propose to use the concepts of fugality and atom-atom polarizability to study the acidic strength of substituted benzoic acid derivatives. The nature of the variations and trends in the correlation of reactivity parameters and p values is shown to provide an insight into the applicability of these concepts to such reactions.

The said multifunctional waterborne emulsion was prepared via a surfactant-free reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization technique. To accomplish this, a new class of ABC-type triblock copolymer (PMTAC--PBA--PIBA) based on 2-(methacryloyloxy) ethyl ammonium chloride (MTAC), -butyl acrylate, and isobornyl acrylate (IBA) was synthesized via a polymerization-induced self-assembly technique in a surfactant-free miniemulsion process.

We have studied the effect of nanocellulose grafted collagen (CGC) on the performance of in situ gels based on PM for the controlled in vitro release of Ketorolac Tromethamine (KT). CGC has shown great influence evident by the reduction in PM critical gelation concentration, increased gel strength, and prolonged the release of loaded drugs compared with the virgin PM gel.

The stress⁻strain diagram of these biological materials is always J-shaped and is composed of toe, heel, linear, and failure regions. In the toe region, the stress is almost zero, and the length of this zero-stress region becomes very large (≃150%) in, for example, certain arteries.

However, the celebrated Marcus theory and linear-response-theory-based approaches for ETRK and NESD, respectively, predict both of the processes to be independent of λ. The above said lacuna in these theories prompted us to develop a novel theory in 1D space, where the effect of innumerable Franck-Condon states is included through λ.
