A Study to Assess Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors Induced Thyroid Dysfunction in Newly Diagnosed Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Patients.

Introduction: The use of TKIs has dramatically improved the prognosis of CML. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of TKIs on thyroid function in a prospective manner.

Materials: In this prospective study, 55 newly diagnosed adult subjects with positive Philadelphia chromosome in chronic phase of CML without any other apparent underlying diseases were enrolled.
