[The current possibilities for treating chronic viral hepatitides].

The article addresses on the modern level the issues of treatment of chronic viral hepatitis (ChVH). Recent data are submitted on those drugs and their combinations being employed in the treatment of ChVH. Considered in the paper in some detail is alpha-interferon, indications and contraindications, with schedules of treatment submitted for most frequently encountering chronic hepatitis B, C, D, as well as little-studied hepatitis G.

[The clinico-pharmacological activity of Agapurin].

Data from published literature are generalized together with results of the authors' studies on clinical pharmacology of the metabolite drug agapurin (pentoxifulline). It is shown to be of high therapeutic efficacy in postinsult syndrome, varicose ulcers, gangrene, frostbite, paresthesias, acrocyanosis, Raynaud's disease, cerebral circulatory ischemic disorders, postischemic/hemorrhagic insult states, circulation disorders in the vessels of the eye, of the internal ear, in male sterility.

[The functional-morphological status of the stomach in rheumatism patients].
