Studies of microcirculation vessels disorders in workers exposed to occupational physical hazards remain topical problem. The authors studied changes in microcirculatory vessels of conjunctiva, through biomicroscopy and calibrometric angiographic parameters in the examinees, and determined significant changes - narrowed arterioles, RBC aggreggation sites - in the workers with long length of service.

To study visual analyzer electrophysiological changes in workers exposed to occupational physical factors remains to be a topical problem. The authors investigated retinal electrosensitivity and optic nerve electrolability and performed electroretinography in this group of workers, which determined significant retinal functional changes typical of retinal metabolic disturbances in workers having a long service.

Acoustic waves of low frequency appeared to influence directly the body cellular structures, induce non-specific changes of cells and subcellular elements in all organs and systems studied. Direct correlation exists between the waves frequency, exposure period and severity of the disorders. The most severe disorders result from the frequencies of 8 and 16 Hz.
