Prognostic indices of pathological tooth wear development.

Objective: The aim: To study possibilities of prognosis of pathological wear of tooth hard tissues development depending on the functional activity of masticatory muscles.

Patients And Methods: Materials and methods: In order to achieve the goal of the study, a survey of patients at the age of 19 to 69 years was conducted for precision of number of persons who have increased tooth wear. During the examination of all patients, three groups were selected: control and two researched ones.

Changes in the functional condition of the masticatory muscles with increased teeth abrasion.

Objective: Introduction: The term "pathological abrasion" (increased abrasion) can be described as a loss of tooth hard tissue on the occlusal, oral, vestibular surfaces of teeth or in the occlusal area. Treatment of increased abrasion of teeth is a difficult task for the practical work of a dentist. The choice of the optimal treatment plan provides the greatest likelihood of long-term success and minimal probability of complication appearance.
