The freezing tolerance of Arabidopsis thaliana (L.) Heynh. was studied in relation to functioning of the ethylene signaling pathway.

Unlabelled: THE PURPOSE OF THE REVIEW: Analyze the basic data on the role of obesity in the pathogenesis of pancreatic cancer (PC) and the modern mechanisms of this association.
Recent Literature Data: In the European Union and in Russia incidence of pancreatic diseases increases, such pancreatic cancer (PC) ranks 10th among cancer diseases. Obesity is a risk factor for not only of severe acute pancreatitis, but also PC at that independently of diabetes.
The purpose of the review--to analyze the basic data on modifiable and genetic risk factors of pancreatic cancer (PC). PC is the most fatal disease that kills about 95% of patients. Among the known risk factors for PC only for smoking, obesity, and family history a positive association with the PC risk in meta-analyzes confirmed.

Mironovskaya 808 cultivar and its allocytoplasmatic hybrid containing alien cytoplasm of goat grass (Aegilops ovata L.) and grown in a water culture until phenophase, from two leaves until branching.

Investigations on isolated Langendorff-perfused rat heart have shown that after the impact of ionizing radiation in 1 Gy dose the myocardial contractility and relaxation are decreased. The inhibition of NO synthesis attenuates chrono- and inotropic responses of the heart and reaction of coronary vessels to norepinephrine (NE), increases negative inotropic and vasoconstrictor effects of carbamylcholine (CCh). In the irradiated animals the reaction of isolated heart to NE and CCh is decreased.

Material And Methods: 10 patients with chronic mesangial glomerulonephritis (CMG) and 4 patients with chronic drug-induced tubulointerstitial nephritis were examined. All the patients had moderate arterial hypertension including 5 patients with CMG combined with nephrotic syndrome.
The authors discuss questions facing forensic medical experts in connection with civil "medical" actions. The questions are classified as common and private. Expert evaluations of correspondence of the scope and quality of dental care are offered as the base for analysis of these problems within the framework of civil legislation.

As found out in earlier investigations, after the intratracheal infection of guinea pigs with C. burnetii (the method of infection, most similar to aerogenic infection which is characteristic of Coxiella under natural conditions) the maximum amount of the infective agent is accumulated in the lungs of the animals, damaging the organs of the reticuloendothelial system. The present investigation has revealed that this method of infection makes it possible differentiate C.

High effectiveness of C.burnetii strain M-44 was confirmed in experimental studies on subcutaneously immunized guinea pigs ¿correction of pig] after their intratracheal infection with the virulent culture of the infective agent. The study revealed that the dose necessary for the enteral immunization of guinea pigs and monkeys was 10(4.

The hemostasis parameters are compared in 32 patients with slight (14-15 Glasgow score) and 114 with grave craniocerebral injury (3 to 7 Glasgow score) on days 1, 3, 5, and 7 after the injury. Assessment of hemostasiograms revealed a regular development of disseminated intravascular blood coagulation (DIC) in patients with grave craniocerebral injury, whereas in patients with slight injury the changes in the hemostasis system were compensatory. Early (starting from day 1) addition of anticoagulants, disaggregants, and fresh-frozen plasma to treatment protocols are advisable for patients with grave craniocerebral injuries.

Possible space mechanisms of information conversion processes with Lorenzinian ampullary apparatus during detection of the dipole electric field were studied using mathematical modelling methods. The stationary voltage distribution in the nonuniform media was calculated by numerical methods. The skate body was simulated by a thin disk.

Using the method proposed by Gillies and Govan and their indicator strains, 342 P. aeruginosa strains isolated from the patients were studied in respect to their pyocinogenicity and typed according to the production of different types of pyocins. Besides, in 206 cultures the pyocin sensitivity of 16 standard P.

A general tendency toward a reduced activity of acetylcholinesterase in different sectors of the brain was revealed both in animals receiving alcohol against the background of a normal protein allowance and in those kept on a low-protein diet (when compared with the enzyme activity in animals maintained on a ration with a normal of protein).
