The research involves an experimental investigation into the performance of a flow assisting air heat exchanger under varying angular orientation and uniform external heat fluxes without and with spring turbulators. The investigation was performed for Reynolds numbers ranging from 511 to 9676 and inclination angle 15° and 30°. Three heat fluxes (2, 3, and 4 kW/m) were applied to the test section to investigate the effect of external surface heating on the range of transition flow regime and thermohydraulic performance.

A solar collector is a simple and cheap device that converts solar radiation into valuable heat energy. The thermal performance of the solar collectors can be enhanced significantly with the suspension of nanoparticles in the base fluid. A novel design for a solar-assisted water heater (SWH) is proposed in the current study, and the effect of nanofluid has been investigated on the thermal efficiency of the SWH.

Lithium-ion battery, a high energy density storage device has extensive applications in electrical and electronic gadgets, computers, hybrid electric vehicles, and electric vehicles. This paper presents multiple fault detection of lithium-ion battery using two non-linear Kalman filters. A discrete non-linear mathematical model of lithium ion battery has been developed and Unscented Kalman filter (UKF) is employed to estimate the model parameter.
