A comparative study between modified Bishop score and transvaginal sonography to predict successful induction of labor.

Background: Modified Bishop score (MBS) and cervical length determination by transvaginal sonography (TVS) are the two methods for predicting successful vaginal delivery based on pre-induction favourability of the cervix.

Aims And Objectives: This study compared both methods for predicting successful vaginal delivery. The primary objective was to compare the predictive value of MBS and TVS in predicting successful induction of labor.

Examining the Perspectives and Attitudes Towards Antibiotic Use and Resistance Among the General Public in Muzaffarpur in Bihar, India.

Objective This study aimed to examine the current understanding and perspectives about the use of antibiotics among the general public living in the city of Muzaffarpur, Bihar, and the surrounding areas. Methodology A cross-sectional study was carried out from March 2023 to August 2023 in Muzaffarpur. Data was obtained through interviews based on a standardized questionnaire derived from a prior study.

A rare case of fibrous histiocytic tumor of the tongue.

Fibrous histiocytoma is a benign soft tissue tumor composed of a mixture of fibroblastic and histiocytic cells arising as a fibrous mass everywhere in the human body. Based on location it is divided into cutaneous type and those involving the deeper tissues. Involvement of the oral cavity is rare.
