Objective: Cognitive impairment is a recurrent complication in people with chronic kidney disease (CKD), which includes those undergoing hemodialysis (HD). Researchers aimed to analyze vitamin D levels, beta-amyloid 42, indoxyl sulfate, and serum parathyroid hormone (PTH) in patients with cognitive impairment who underwent HD.
Design: This comparative, cross-sectional study was conducted at the HD unit of Dr.
Hypoxia-induced heterogeneity in colorectal cancer (CRC) significantly impacts patient survival by promoting chemoresistance. These conditions alter the regulation of miRNAs, key regulators of crucial processes like proliferation, apoptosis, and invasion, leading to tumor progression. Despite their promising potential as diagnostic and therapeutic targets, the underlying mechanisms by which miRNAs influence hypoxia-mediated tumorigenesis remain largely unexplored.

Methods: This scoping review focused on articles with observational study design in English published from 2012 to 2023 from five international databases. The primary keyword used were: "stunting" OR "growth disorder" AND "newborn" AND "predict" AND "Southeast Asia".
Background: The concept of 'medical pluralism' has become more popular among scholars in applied health science and prevalent in societies where one medical system alone cannot adequately meet the health care needs of the entire population.
Methods: The data collection is focused on the knowledge-belief-practice and the utilization of three medical systems in Kabupaten Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. Participants were purposively selected from households with at least one member experienced one of the listed diseases in the questionnaire.
Background: The mobilization characteristics of nurses' work, such as standing, walking, and transferring patients for a long time, can increase the risk of musculoskeletal disorders. Repetitive activities nurses perform can cause foot problems such as discomfort and insecurity, characterized by increased lactic acid levels. Anthropometric shoes are specifically designed to reduce complaints on nurses' feet.

This study aims to investigate IL6, CA-125 and HE4 to predict tumor resectability in the pre-operative patients with advanced epithelial ovarian cancer.
Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted in the polyclinic, oncology and gynecology inpatient room of Dr.
Background and Objective: Indonesia consists of various ethnic groups with diverse cultures. However, research on allele frequencies and genetic variations of each ethnic group in Indonesia has not been well established. Therefore, a study was conducted on 13 STR loci panels to analyze the mentawai population as an enhancement of the Indonesian population's genetic data library and genetic variation.

However, becoming a volunteer during a pandemic is influenced by motivational factors and barriers.
Purpose: This study aims to identify the motivations and barriers of health students as COVID-19 volunteers.
Background: Minangkabau is the majority ethnic group in West Sumatra, Indonesia. West Sumatra is a disaster area, especially earthquakes and the potential for a tsunami. Allele frequency for 21 short tandem repeat locus and genetic variation are not well known.

Although the effects of stroke on patients are quite severe, lately it has been recognized that AF is associated with the incidence of cognitive impairment and dementia.
Objective: This study aims to analyze and determine the differences in two isoforms of amyloid beta (Aββ40 and 42) and malondialdehyde (MDA) serum levels in AF patients who experience and who do not experience cognitive impairment.
Objective: The aim of this study was to compare the coverage of Japanese encephalitis (JE) immunization obtained from a recall survey and immunization registers at community health centers (CHCs) in Bali Province, Indonesia.
Methods: A population-based survey was conducted, and random 2-staged selection of clusters of sub-villages was performed. The sample consisted of households with children aged 9 months to 15 years old.
As health service providers, nurses are at a high risk of COVID-19 infection, as are their family members who live with them. This study aimed to explore nurses' actions to protect their families from COVID-19 in Indonesia. This qualitative descriptive study included seventeen nurses who were chosen using the snowball sampling technique.

Objective: This study aimed to elucidate the relationship of serum BDNF, malondialdehyde (MDA), and 8-Hydroxy 2-Deoxyguanosine (8-OhdG) levels in acute stroke cases with one-month post-stroke depression.
Methods: An observational study was conducted of 72 post-ischemic stroke patients in the Neurology ward of the Dr.
: Diphtheria remains a health problem, especially in developing countries. In November 2017, the Indonesian Ministry of Health stated that there was a diphtheria outbreak in Indonesia. East Kalimantan is one of the provinces that experienced this disease outbreak.

The advantages of hydrochar from hydrothermal treatment include its high Oxygenated Functional Group (OFG) and high porosity. The authors have been working on the biomass conversion for energy storage application.

Oxidative stress occurs due to the low level of antioxidants. Single nucleotide polymorphism of glutamate-cysteine ligase subunit catalytic (GCLC) gene namely -129C/T GCLC has been reported to have an association with a risk factor of oxidative stress' susceptibility.

Firstly, the Fe catalyst were deposited onto the activated carbon by incipient wetness impregnation method using Fe(NO3)2 x 9H2O as precursors with various content of catalyst (5%, 7% and 10% with respect to the carbon support). The carbon products were characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscope, scanning electron microscope, Raman spectroscopy, nitrogen adsorption and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
