Background: Several interventions have been carried out to tackle health inequalities between migrant groups, especially refugees, and native-born European populations. These initiatives are often address language or cultural barriers. One of them is the International Health Advisors (IHA) in Sweden; a peer education intervention aimed at providing health information for recently settled migrants.

Objectives: The objective of this study is to evaluate the achievement of the prevent mother-to-child transmission (PMTCT) program and to describe the strategic challenges of its implementation in the the Oromia region, Ethiopia.
Methods: PMTCT program reports were collected over a period of 12 months from 25 zones of Oromia region. The health facilities in these zones include 28 hospitals and 84 health centers.
Aims: Modifiable risk factors for cardiovascular disease include overweight, which is prevented by healthy diet and physical activity. Recently settled migrants may have varying levels of exposure to health information. Therefore, the objectives of this study were to explore the associations between self-reported information on healthy diet and on physical activity and overweight and the possible modification of this association by educational level among recently settled Iraqi migrants in Sweden.
