This syndrome is the most common hereditary cancer syndrome and is caused by pathogenic variants in the genes responsible for DNA mismatch repair. A clearer identification of nutrition-related critical points during neoadjuvant treatment for gastric cancer is relevant to managing patient care and predicting clinical outcomes.
