Lymphangiomas are rare, generally benign tumors of the lymphatic system comprised of multiple cystic spaces lined with endothelium. Lymphangiomas may arise in any part of the body. Synopsis of recent research by authors named "Susan Jormark"

  • - Susan Jormark's research primarily focuses on rare and complex medical conditions, including malignancies associated with ovarian tumors, such as squamous cell carcinoma in mature cystic teratomas, and splenic angiosarcoma diagnosed from unusual sources like bone marrow biopsies.
  • - Her work highlights the lack of comprehensive treatment guidelines in the literature for certain conditions, underscoring the importance of case reports and literature reviews to enhance understanding and management options for rare tumors.
  • - Additionally, Jormark has contributed to the study of unique medical cases, such as lymphangiomas in the ovary and atypical pregnancies, which illustrate the diversity and variability in clinical presentations and the need for continued research in these areas.
