Background: More than 80 countries, including Australia, have made commitments to deliver climate-resilient and low carbon healthcare. Understanding how healthcare workers view their own and their organization's efforts to achieve sustainable and climate-resilient healthcare practice is vital to inform strategies to accelerate that transition.
Methods: We conducted an online staff survey in a large state government hospital-and-health-service organisation in Queensland, Australia, to ascertain attitudes and practices towards environmentally sustainable, climate-resilient healthcare, and views about the organizational support necessary to achieve these goals in their workplace.

A cardiac papillary fibroelastoma is a benign, pedunculated tumor with strand-like projections arising from the endocardium. While often discovered incidentally, these tumors can embolize resulting in major neurologic events. There is a dearth of pediatric literature describing the necessity and optimal timing of surgical intervention for this rare primary cardiac tumor after a cerebrovascular event.

We present a novel technique used in an infant female, using the left atrial appendage to extend the superior vena cava anastomosis.

We discuss the use of a retractor specifically designed for this purpose: the Rultract Resternotomy Retractor™.

In order to investigate possible hidden variation within a serovar, the sequence of the por genes encoding protein PIB have been obtained from a series of strains, including isolates known to be epidemiologically linked. The inferred amino acid sequences of the PIB molecules of isolates from known sexual contacts were identical, but non-related isolates showed significant heterogeneity in PIB sequence.
