Objective: To analyze the proliferation potential of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) in patients with myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS).
Methods: The MSC derived from the 24 patients with newly diagnosed MDS (MDS-MSC group) and MSC derived from 15 patients with nutritional anemia (control group) in the Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University were used as the research objects. The proliferation potential of MSC was analyzed by colony-forming unit assay, doubling time, cumulative passaging, cell number after 10 days of culture with equal amount of MSC and MTT experiment.

A novel sulfur-oxidizing bacterium, designated strain LSR1, was enriched and isolated from a freshwater sediment sample collected from the Pearl River in Guangzhou, PR China. The strain was an obligate chemolithoautotroph, using thiosulfate or sulfide as an electron donor and energy source. Growth of strain LSR1 was observed at 15-40 °C, pH 6.

Although dozens of AOA strains were obtained in the last 13 years, it is still necessary to obtain more AOA strains for the entire exploration of their ecology, physiology, and underlying biochemistry in different environments. In this study, we designed a two-step strategy for the rapid enrichment of -like AOA from soils.

However, our understanding about the risk of ARGs to the health of aquatic organism is still limited. In the present study, we got a deep insight into the diversity of ARGs in the intestinal bacteria of shrimp by culture-dependent and independent approaches.

Method: The imaging data from 30 cases of Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia in NP group and 24 cases with non-necrotizing Mycoplasma penumoniae pneumonia (control group) were analyzed retrospectively. The changes of common inflammatory parameters in NP group and control group were compared.
