Solitary Intracerebral Phaeoid Fungal Granuloma: A Case Report.

Fungal granuloma in the brain parenchyma caused by pheohyphomycosis is extremely rare. Antifungal drugs are not very effective. The present report is a case of solitary pheohyphomycosis granuloma, which underwent surgical excision followed by antifungal drug treatment with excellent result.

Choroid Plexus Papilloma Arising From the Temporal Horn With a Bilateral Hypersecretory Hydrocephalus: A Case Report and Review of Literature.

Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) within the cerebral ventricular system is secreted by a neuroepithelial tissue which is called as the choroid plexus. Tumors arising from these tissues are rare. Choroid plexus papillomas (CPPs) have been denoted as WHO grade I of the choroid plexus tumors.

Acute hemorrhage within intradural extramedullary schwannoma in cervical spine presenting with quadriparesis.

Schwannoma with acute hemorrhage is rarely seen. A 44-years-old male patient presented with complaint of neck pain and acute onset of quadriparesis. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of his cervical spine revealed evidence of an intradural extramedullary tumor with intratumoral acute hemorrhage.

Congenital dermal sinus in mid-dorsal spine with large intramedullary dermoid cyst in an 18-months-old child.

Intramedullary dermoid cyst is a rare entity. It is usually associated with spinal dysraphism and dermal sinus. Our case is an 18-months-old female child who presented with history of fever and mild difficulty in moving left leg.

Radiation induced meningioma with a short latent period following high dose cranial irradiation - case report and literature review.

Radiation induced meningiomas (RIM) are rare late complications in patients who have received high dose irradiation for brain tumors. The mean latency period for induction of RIM in most of the series is 18.7+/-10.
