Developing simple, rapid and specific mRNA imaging strategy plays an important role in the early diagnosis of cancer and the new drugs development. Herein, we have established a novel binary system based DNA tetrahedron and fluorogenic RNA aptamers for highly specific and label-free mRNA imaging in living cells. This developed system consisted of tetrahedron probe A (TPA) and tetrahedron probe B (TPB).
