Gaining insight into the photoelectric behavior of ferromagnetic materials is significant for comprehensively grasping their intrinsic properties and broadening future application fields. Here, through a specially designed FeGeTe/O-FeGeTe heterostructure, first, the broad-spectrum negative photoconductivity phenomenon of ferromagnetic nodal line semimetal FeGeTe is reported that covers UV-vis-infrared-terahertz bands (355 nm to 3000 µm), promising to compensate for the inadequacies of traditional optoelectronic devices. The significant suppression of photoexcitation conductivity is revealed to arise from the semimetal/oxidation (sMO) interface-assisted dual-response mechanism, in which the electron excitation origins from the semiconductor photoconductivity effect in high-energy photon region, and semimetal topological band-transition in low-energy photon region.

Materials And Methods: The patient-related characteristics including the lesion location, age, prostate-specific antigen (PSA), free prostate-specific antigen (fPSA), fPSA/PSA, prostate-specific antigen density (PSAD) and body mass index (BMI) were collected for patients who underwent mp-MRI and prostate biopsy between February 2014 and October 2022. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play important roles in regulated gene expression and miRNA biogenesis is also subject to regulation, together constituting critical regulatory circuitries in numerous physiological and pathological processes. As a dsRNA binding protein, interleukin enhancer binding factor 3 (ILF3) has been implicated as a negative regulator in miRNA biogenesis, but the mechanism and specificity have remained undefined. Hepatic fibrosis represents as a dynamic pathological process characterized by the net accumulation of extracellular matrix in the progression of various chronic liver diseases, including viral hepatitis, alcoholic liver disease, and metabolic associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD). Activation of hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) is well-defined to play a central role in the initiation and progression of hepatic fibrosis. However, the activation of HSCs is affected by the complicated microenvironments in liver, which largely attributes to the communication between hepatocytes and multiple tissue-resident cells, including sinusoidal endothelial cells, bile duct epithelial cells, platelets, T cells, B cells, macrophages, natural killer cells, neutrophils, dendritic cells, in the direct or indirect mechanisms.

Chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is characterized by sustained liver inflammation with an influx of lymphocytes, which contributes to the development of cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. The mechanisms underlying this immune-mediated hepatic pathogenesis remain ill defined. We report in this article that repetitive infusion of anti-CD137 agonist mAb in HBV-transgenic mice closely mimics this process by sequentially inducing hepatitis, fibrosis, cirrhosis, and, ultimately, liver cancer.
