Purpose: To study the level of serum malondialdehyde (MDA), a biomarker of oxidative stress before and after chemotherapy in various ocular malignancies and to correlate its significance with clinicopathological parameters.
Methods: Thirty two histopathologically confirmed cases of primary ocular malignancies were included in this longitudinal cohort study. Detailed clinicopathological assessment was done.
Thromboembolic phenomenon related to Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been well documented in literature; however, reported ocular manifestations of COVID-19 are limited to vision sparing ocular conditions like conjunctivitis. We report a case of a 17-year-old female who presented to us with central retinal vein occlusion with proven recent past COVID-19 infection as presumed etiology which was not known to her at the time of presentation.

A 75-year-old female was commenced on sildenafil for the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) secondary to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). She reported blurring of vision within 72 hours after starting treatment and was found to have a central retinal vein occlusion (CRVO). Such an occurrence is the second case reported to date, and we review the possible mechanisms and literature on the subject.
