Background: The aim of this study was to assess the incidence of lung cancer and comorbidities in Korea and analyze the lung cancer patient's characteristics and their comorbidities over the past 12 years. This study also aimed to investigate factors related to death as treatment outcome in discharged lung cancer patients.
Methods: This study analyzed the data obtained from the Korean National Hospital Discharge In-depth Injury Survey from 2006 to 2017.
Background: Healthcare organizations have begun to adopt personal health records (PHR) systems to engage patients, but little is known about factors associated with the adoption of PHR systems at an organizational level. The objective of this study is to investigate factors associated with healthcare organizations' adoption of PHR systems in South Korea.
Methods: The units of analysis were hospitals with more than 100 beds.
Despite the use of vaccines and various antibiotics, approximately 30% of the South Korean population is treated for pneumonia each year, and the number of deaths from pneumonia continues to increase. The present study used information on discharged patients in South Korea to investigate the number and characteristics of discharged pneumonia patients across 12 years. Using the Korean National Hospital Discharge In-Depth Injury Survey data, information on discharged patients from 2006 to 2017 were collected.

Methods: According to the insurance claim procedures, the claim database was divided into the electronic data interchange database (EDI_DB) and the sheet database (Paper_DB). Although the EDI_DB has operation and management codes showing the facts and kinds of operations, the Paper_DB doesn't.
Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the independent effect of remifentanil on the approximate entropy (ApEn) in frontoparietal montages. The authors investigated which montages were relevant to assess the remifentanil effect on the electroencephalogram. Spectral edge frequency and the canonical univariate parameter were used as comparators.
